1. Overview:

IP Office Contact Center is part of the Avaya Contact Center Solutions for IP Office portfolio. IP Office Contact Center is a fully integrated contact center specifically built to address the full scope of IP Office and its addressable market.
It was discovered that it's possible for a malicious server/client that is hosting ActiveX controls of the CCUI to inject parameters that may result in a buffer overflow or heap corruption that could potentially allow foreign code to be executed.

The Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures project (cve.mitre.org) has assigned the name CVE-2017-12969 to this issue.
