Avaya System Products using a Sun Microsystems Operating System:
Avaya system products include an Operating System with the product when it is delivered. Avaya Call Management System (CMS) and Avaya Interactive Response (IR) are both shipped with an operating system from Sun Microsystems. Actions to be taken on those products are described below.

Follow the recommended actions for the products listed below. This advisory will be updated as additional information becomes available.

Avaya CMS R12, R13/R13.1, R14 Low Although the binaries affected by this vulnerability exist in CMS, the default configuration does not allow them to be executed.
Avaya recommends install patch 112785-62 to resolve this issue.
Avaya IR 2.0, 3.0 Low Although the binaries affected by this vulnerability exist in IR, the default configuration does not allow them to be executed.

For IR 2.0 on Solaris 8, Avaya recommends that customers install the Solaris 8 Patch Cluster for Avaya IR 2.0 Service Pack 2 from the Avaya support site to resolve this issue.

For IR 2.0 on Solaris 10, Avaya recommends that customers install the Solaris 10 Patch Cluster for Avaya IR 2.0 Service Pack 2 from the Avaya support site to resolve this issue.

For IR 3.0 on Solaris 10, Avaya recommends that customers install the Solaris 10 Patch Cluster for Avaya IR 3.0 Service Pack 2 from the Avaya support site to resolve this issue.
