Input validation vulnerability in Messaging Product Web Interface

1. Overview:

An input validation vulnerability has been discovered in the web administration pages for Avaya Messaging products. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability to potentially render the system unusable. Avaya's Product Security Support Team discovered and proved this issue. The Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures project (cve.mitre.org) has assigned the name CVE-2007-5830 to this issue.

***NOTE: The patches for all affected Avaya products are customer installable.***
